Episode 06: Maid-Sama’s Obligatory Beach Episode
In this episode of Shoujo Sundae, Chika and Giana discuss episodes 16-18 of Maid Sama!. They dive into Maid Sama!’s “obligatory beach episode” and all of the shoujo hijinks involved. Chika revisits her thoughts on the infamous hickey scene years after reading it in the manga. Giana makes a confession about her tooth brushing routine. Later, they continue to advocate for and applaud young Aoi, who quite literally fights for the chance to live in their true identity in episode 17. Miyabigaoka returns in episode 18, and, along with their snooty rich kid attitudes, they bring forth rage inducing, unnecessary chaos.
