In this episode of Shoujo Sundae, Giana and Chika review episodes four to six of My Happy Marriage with Pete and Miles of the What Do You Say Anime podcast. In episode seven, justice certainly tastes like a sweet sundae as everyone celebrates the Saimori’s downfall. Hazuki brings, as Miles points out, a new, interesting pace to this anime as a far more upbeat, energetic character to a more generally reserved cast. Pete pours some fresh, piping hot fudge all over Kouji. In episode eight, the grotesqueries really shake things up: Giana is intrigued by the presentation of the curse, Chika is grossed out by them, and Miles points out the lackadaisical attitude the fabulous heir has about fighting against them. In episode nine, Miles gives a clearer perspective on some confusion around Kudo, knowing if Miyo fainted in his absence. Miyo and Kudo’s vulnerable nighttime conversation brings on lots of shoujo feels. Arata gets BOILED in hot fudge!
