Episode 29: Don’t Lick People (Ouran High School Host Club 4-6)
In this episode of Shoujo Sundae, we discuss episodes four through six Ouran High School Host Club. In episode four, the girls muse over how the fake eye drops could work in real-time at the host club. Chika digs out an adorable little easter egg! And something the twins did unhinges the whole podcast just twenty minutes in. In episode five, Giana comes to Nekozawa’s defense. Chika makes a surprising parallel between Tamaki’s behavior and real life. In episode five, the girls describe the pink and blue-haired Hitchiin brother’s hair in very different ways. Giana gushes about one of her favorite moments in the series with Honey-senpai. Chika points out a highly confusing choice in the sub-translation. In episode six, carp girl’s lips are declared beautiful ahead of their time. This episode has some piping hot fudge about the host club’s shenanigans and the episode ending.
